The name Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is composed of two Japanese words: “Rei,” meaning Divine or Universal and “ki,” meaning life force energy. Reiki translates to “universal life force energy.”
Reiki is a compassion-based, gentle and relaxing healing modality.
Reiki is administered by light touch or hovering of hands over a fully-clothed individual.
Reiki activates the natural healing processes of the client’s body and restores physical and emotional well-being.
Reiki promotes self-healing, balance and nourishes your body, mind, and spirit.
What can Reiki do for me?
If you are suffering from an imbalance, disharmony, illness, or issue which affects you on a physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual level, you can benefit from Reiki.
Sessions typically are scheduled for an hour which includes intake time before the session and discussion after.
Most clients report feeling immediately better, more relaxed and experiencing lasting stress reduction.
Reiki is safe for all ages and abilities. Children benefit as well as adults.
Reiki Precepts:
Just for today…
I will let go of anger.
I will let go of worry.
I will count my many blessings.
I will live honestly.
I will be kind and compassionate to all living things.
